I went down to Anno Domini during a break between my classes to see you work. Absolutely wonderful! My favorite was 'Through the Shame Wave', and I love how vibrant and smooth your colours are. Do you have any tips for getting such a nice coat of acrylics?
i generally don’t mix colors into one another. most of them are out of the tube mixed with white, or just straight up out of tube (mostly reds, black, and white… sometimes yellow). that keeps them very vibrant. I don’t apply them mixed with a lot of water either, that’s what keeps them smooth. acrylic paint can be used in a lot of ways, it can emulate watercolors, but I try to avoid doing that. I lay it on pretty thick.
